14th Week

I'm not too happy with the lighting :/ It was all done in a rush as my 3ds Max kept crashing. I wished that we have one more extra day :( But what's done is done. But still, the lighting is completely horrible.

13th Week

The exhibition profile of our booth. This is related to the post where I talked about what Rose and I had agreed on the activities that is running in the booth. Next week we have to submit the whole assignment. Not too confident on that as seeing I sucks at 3ds Max.

12th Week

The first concept board that we made got rejected and we made a new one to fulfill the requirements of the assignment.

11th Week

The theme for our booth is - warehouse. We wanted to do like a clearance stock sale in a warehouse kind of feel. It seemed to compliment the colour of the jeans as well.

10th Week

We discussed what activities that are about to go on in the booth. The booth is pretty small-scale, 6x6 but we still wanted to keep the runway idea. I listed down what we pretty much had agreed on the activities.

2. Photobooth

This would be the place where the visitors could get this celebrity kind-of vibe. Tarik Jeans logo would be use as the background image to promote the booth f

urther.

3. Stylist Consultation

This is like a one-stop-center kind of thing where famous fashion stylists gave out advice on what jeans suited and flatter their body the best.

4. Product Display

We would display the jeans to attract fashion lovers to take a look and buy it.

Le Modulor

Modulor is a golden ratio of an object. It could applies to human, architectural form, music and other stuffs as well. It as a combination that allows two different incompatible systems to unite as one. It is based on an Englishman around 6ft of height raising his arm because the good looking detective in English novel is always 6ft. Initially it was based on a French man's height of 175cm but then they changed it to 6ft. Believe me, I don't see any logical sense in that establishment but that's how it is.

The symbol for le modulor is in the picture, where a 6ft man raising his arm up.

9th Week

We searched around the net for some booth inspirations. And I'm pretty excited seeing all these pretty pictures of how a booth looks like. This week, Mr Nazri demonstrated on how to model the booth using 3ds Max. Rose and I are definitely going to use the tips that he gave in making our 3d model.
